United with Husband after Long Ordeal

Ruchi Singh a resident of village Karwa in district Hardoi was seeing a 20 year old boy named Intizar Ali. They met each other on a daily basis and had an affair.
One day Ruchi narrated the whole story to her mother and told that she wanted to marry Intizar. On hearing this, her mother beat her. When her father too heard about the incident he too beat her and threatened to murder Intizar.

Later her father hired some goons to beat the boy, Intizar was severely beaten and injured. He recovered in a month's time and met Ruchi. They decided to run away from the village. Her father was the gram pradhan of the village and was supposed to be a powerful person in the area. Her father lodged an FIR against Intizar.

Intizar was arrested and put in lock up for four months while Ruchi being a minor was sent to a government protection home. When Intizar was released he seeked to meet her but was not given permission for the same, while she became pregnant by four months. Intizar took court order in order to meet Ruchi. Meanwhile Ruchi's father laid down conditions that she would have to falsely charge Intizar of kidnap and rape or else he would leave her in the Government Protection Home.

Ruchi delivered a baby girl in the hospital. Her husband (Intizar) used to visit her in the government protection home. Meanwhile whenever Intizar filed a case against her father, he using his power and clout would close the case so as to prevent Ruchi and Intizar from meeting each other. On the other hand few staff members of Pratinidhi on a regular basis visited to the government protection home and interacted with its inmates. They were helping to better the support system so that better care can be taken of house's inmates.

Ruchi narrated her whole story to them and explained the trouble caused by her father in the case. The staff persons then throughly discussed the case with the superintendent of the protection home so as to solve the issue. The superintendent then wrote a letter to the District Probation Officer. DPO asked Ruchi and Intizar to resubmit the file. The case was now presented before the DPO. Ruchi was summoned by the court. Her father again tried to close the case but did not succeed in doing so this time. Ruchi narrated all the circumstances before the judge. The Hohourable Judge asked her about her will. She wanted to return back to her husband, Intizar. The decision was taken in her favour. The superintendent told the judge that Ruchi's father was trying to kill Ruchi. The judge ordered to provide security to Ruchi and held her father responsible for any mishappening.

This way Ruchi was reunited with her husband. She heartily thanked the team of Pratinidhi for facilitating her case and pleading for her life. This scenario has changed her life.
