Rescue of Girls in Suspected Condition

Manjeet and Alok Parna were very good friends since childhood. They lived in a small area of West Bengal. Although they were neighbors but had very similar family conditions. Their families imposed undue restrictions and gave little freedom to them. They were not allowed to go outside or visit the market. The strictness and rude behavior of their parents made them very sad. Their life became boring for them.

One day they thought of running away from home. Together they made a plan and ran away when everyone was asleep. They went to the railway station and sat in an unknown train. From that train they reached Lucknow. Both girls were traced down by the members of Pratinidhi. They handed the girls to the railway police officials. The policemen and the organization members counseled the girls and their addresses were traced. Girl's parents were worried. They were informed of the girls and after due counseling were the girls handed to them.

The girls were back to their homes with to the joint efforts of the police and Pratinidhi.
